Electrogenomics Group Unravelling the electrical and genetic causes of cardiovascular risk

Adrian Rodriguez received a BSc in Genetics in 2019 from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona followed by an MSc in Human Molecular Genetics from Imperial College London. He later joined the Blizard Institute at Queen Mary University of London to undertake his PhD, where he investigated the epigenetic mechanisms involved in atrial fibrillation. He used a combination of in vitro models and epigenomic characterisation approaches of human cardiac samples. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher funded by the BHF investigating epigenomic events occurring in cardiac hypertrophy.
