Dr Ishika Prachee is an Academic Clinical Fellow in Cardiology at Queen Mary University of London, and a Cardiology Registrar at Barts Health NHS Trust.
Dr Prachee completed her medical degree at the University of Oxford alongside a BA in Cardiovascular, Respiratory and Renal Medicine. After qualifying in 2020, she trained in general medicine in the North West London deanery gaining membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2024. She entered Cardiology specialty training after securing an NIHR funded Academic Clinical Fellowship in the North Central and East London deanery. She is also the academic representative for the cardiology registrars within this deanery. She was awarded the ‘Best of the Best’ prize at the British Cardiovascular Society Conference following her presentation investigating the biological sex ratio in dilated cardiomyopathy; this research has been published in the journal Circulation.
