Electrogenomics Group Unravelling the electrical and genetic causes of cardiovascular mortality

Michele is a Senior Lecturer in Healthcare Engineering in the department of Biomedical Engineering, King’s College London. He also holds a honorary position at the Institute of Cardiovascular Science, University College London.

Before joining King’s College London, he was a Senior Research Fellow at the University College London. Michele is a biomedical engineer and data scientist and he develops and uses computational approaches to combat cardiovascular diseases. He works closely with clinicians to understand mechanisms of sudden cardiac death and to improve prediction and treatment of cardiovascular disease.

His research interests include wearables and remote sensing for health, signal processing, cardiac arrhythmias, and computational medicine.

Michele holds a joint PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Zaragoza, Spain, and the Polytechnic University of Milan, Italy, and a MEng from Centrale Paris, France.
